Benefits :

The AmeriCare benefit package is something we are quite proud of and it has evolved into a fairly complex one. The following is a description of our benefit package.

HEALTH/DENTAL/LIFE INSURANCE:

All employees are entitled to participate in our group insurance plan, consisting of health, dental, and life insurance after 60 days of employment, with an average of 30 hours per week. AmeriCare will provide $10,000.00 of term life insurance FREE OF CHARGE after one year of employment.

401(K) RETIREMENT PLAN

After 1 full year of employment and at least 1000 hours, employees are eligible to participate in our 401(K) plan.

FREE MALPRACTICE LIABILITY:

Every employee is provided with $1 million/$3 million coverage for malpractice. The coverage only applies while you are working within your prescribed job description.

FREE PHYSICALS:

AmeriCare provides physical examinations free of charge.

FREE TRAINING:

AmeriCare offers training FREE OF CHARGE for applicants and employees to become Personal Care Aides and Home Health Aides, as well as specialized training in the care of Alzheimer patients.

WELLNESS PAY:

During a three month period, an employee who has worked an average of 20 hours per week and has not canceled any time during that period, is entitled to one average day's pay.

PAID VACATION:

After an employee has worked and accumulated 1500 hours, they are entitled to an average week's pay or a week off with an average week's pay. It does not matter how long it may take you to accrue the 1500 hours.

REFERRAL BONUS:

AmeriCare offers a variety of bonuses for the referral of employee/applicants and clients.

PICTURE IDENTIFICATION CARDS:

AmeriCare provides picture identification cards FREE OF CHARGE as a source of professional identification while on the job, as well as for check cashing purposes.

PROFESSIONAL TEAM ATMOSPHERE:

You are employed by the highest caliber home care service possible. Our reputation for quality and dependability is without question. Our team effort is responsible for this.

TIME and 1/2 for HOLIDAY PAY:

Employees are paid time and 1/2 for working specific shifts on specific holidays. The holiday is considered to include the 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7 shifts inclusive.

TRAVEL ALLOWANCES:

AmeriCare generally pays travel mileage for home care cases. In most instances, we also provide a program for reduced rate bus tokens or passes.

LOCALLY-OWNED:

AmeriCare is locally and independently owned. You receive personal treatment, and are known on a personal level, not just as a corporate number.

FULLY LICENSED:

AmeriCare is fully licensed for home care by the states in which we operate. We offer assignments in home care as well as staff relief in facilities.
